Christmas tree disposal has never been easier! The Channel Islands Beach Community Services District  is again providing Christmas tree disposal for our residential customers this year, and we encourage you to participate in this recycling effort. 🎄

Simply cut your tree into 4 pieces and place them in your brand-new organic waste bin during the week of December 26th – January 10th on your designated trash pickup day. (Flocked trees are accepted.) If you are unable to cut or fit your tree in the organic waste bin, please place your tree next to the bin on your designated trash day. You can also bag up any organic food waste and put it into your green waste bin. The CIBCSD works with their partner, EJ Harrison, to create mulch from recycled Christmas trees for reuse in nurseries, farmland, orchards, etc. as a Holiday gift back to the Earth.

Extra trash or reyclables? No problem!  For two weeks, December 26th – January 10th, the CIBCSD is allowing its residents to leave extra bags of trash or recycling next to your trash or recycle bin on your designated pickup days.
